we are in escrow....
which is probably why I've been missing for the last month. We have been diligently looking for a new home! I think I said before, that we were renting our floating home, and we only had a 9 month lease! Man I could've had that new baby I've always wanted. So as all of you home owners or soon to be home owners know, it takes a lot of time to find a new home. Researching on the Internet, working with a real estate agent, driving around countless neighborhoods, picturing your life in these other peoples homes, etc.
Our lease will be up May31st guys. Not very far away right? So we we were smart about it, and started looking for homes a few months ago. We found this home online and thought it was a pretty good one! So after contacting our agent, we scheduled a viewing a few weeks ago, fell in love, and put in an offer. Several offers later, they accepted one of them, phewwwww! So we are officially in escrow! There is always a possibility that our loan may not go through, but we have faith that all will go smoothly!
This is a brand new home, finished in December. It sits on an acre lot on a private road, out in the country in Washington. The home itself is not super plush, just the basics, so we will add on some things here and there, but you can't beat brand new right? 4 bedroom, 2.5 bath, 3 car garage, dinning room, living room, and family room! It has the most amazing backyard that backs up to a natural forest with a stream running through it. I really couldn't ask for anything more!
More pictures to come.

Congrats! Its awesome!
my hubby would DIE right now... we currently live on an acre, but in the desert region of southern california... between the forest and the acreage, we could settle down in this home (and a 3 car garage?!)
you lucked out!
may be too personal, but how is the market up there? obviously cheaper than CA, but how MUCH cheaper?
